295 RESPONSES TO "ANIMATING A STILL" by Beallover 08/17/2010 I really love Andrew Kramer. by Matt 08/17/2010 Brilliant! I love seeing how creatively the stock effects and tools in AE can be applied, and this is exactly the sort of project I was looking for. Thanks SO much for your terrific work - and say hello to Michelle Yamazaki for me if you see her soon (you guys are doing a book together, aren't you?) I think I met you at NAB PPW 2010 with her - anyway, rock on, my brother, and thanks again! by Slapthatbass 08/17/2010 Hey Andrew, I was following your tutorial exactly until you got to the CC Particle World part, and when you applied it to the solid your particle was much bigger and different than mine. Mine was set on explosion, but it was very small and was not falling towards the ground like yours. Any help would be appreciated. You are awesome, and thanks for the tutorials. by JAB Productions 08/15/2010 wow, this is amazing. by Nazim Hayyan 08/12/2010 Absolutely amazing tutorial. Still image intro realistic, cool video. As for the focus/zoom relationship you were talking about, its something commonly referred to as "breathing" and only occurs on zoom lenses. What happens is when you change the focus ring or aperture ring, the zoom ring is affected ever so slightly by friction and lens motion, giving you that tiny little change in focal length. by Mike 07/07/2010 Beautiful tutorial ! Thanks Andrew :) by Mike 07/07/2010 Andrew Kramer the best ! It's very intresting tutorial:) by Mike 07/07/2010 Great!!! Andrew Kramer the best ! by Bartholomew 07/06/2010 Hi Andrew you are awesome. Yes, it was great, but (1) it would have been more helpful to just play the dang thing after every change, so we could SEE the effect the change has (instead of just hearing about it), and (2) it blows my mind that after sitting through 35 minutes of that, he doesn't even play the finished clip for us. by moOn 06/30/2010 hey!! thanx a lot for all u do, u're my LIGHT, I'm a real fan!!! but i got a pb : is it possible to do this tuto without the whisp ? maybe u're expecting us to do it by ourselves, but how could I make it, by filming a friend smoking with a black background ? would the transparency with the alpha thing (or luma i forget) work ? maybe it's a stupid question, maybe u're gonna give the whisp soon, maybe not becoz u want to sell your products... so just to know have a funky evening and go on with all these crazy devily tricks... by Inquell.net 06/30/2010 another great tutorial. If i were to reverse engineer it i'd have used Photoshop's Vanishing point. But corner pin worked just as well! by Ribo 06/29/2010 nice ;) by dude 06/28/2010 excellent!!! by Sean Burn 06/27/2010 I honestly have no words to emphasize how much talent you have Andrew.
